SEO Content Templates You Can Duplicate and Use TODAY
My grandfather once said:
“People don’t value the things they get for free.”
I’m going to add to that saying a bit…

Ahhh, that’s better.
In this guide, you guessed it, we’re going to share with you legitimate, high-performing SEO content templates that our company uses for our clients. You can replicate them over and over and over again.

Before You Can Implement an SEO Content Template, You Need To Understand How Google Views a Website Page
Google, in a way, looks at a piece of content like an essay.
Now, stay with me… I know most people HATE essays.
Here’s how an essay works:
- Thesis
- Main arguments / claims
- Supporting arguments / claims
- Conclusion

A website page, from an SEO perspective, basically does the same thing as a college essay!
You’re probably scratching your head thinking “yeah right, there’s no way a website page is similar to an essay…” and want us to prove it.

In fact, we can prove that a website page is similar to an essay.
See below:
- Title tag and meta description: meta data that Google looks at to quickly understand what a page is about
- URL structure: Quick information to understand what the page is about
- H1 (header tag 1): Title of your page – tells Google what the page is about at a high level (basically a thesis)
- H2s (header tag 2s): Additional information to support the title of the page (basically supporting arguments)
- H3s (header tag 3s): Even more context to support the supporting arguments
- H2s (header tag 2s): Additional information to support the title of the page (basically supporting arguments)
We have even MORE proof.
Read the below and within 30 seconds you can probably have complete clarity on exactly what the page is about…
- Title tag: Expert Drone Video Production Services in Portland, OR – PDX Video Pros
- Meta description: We offer unmatched drone video production in Portland. We have expert pilots, 10+ years experience, and have successfully completed 100+ drone video projects.

3 Types of SEO Content Templates
There are many different pages that you can create to add value from an SEO perspective.
In this guide, we’ll give you templates for three of the most important.
- SEO article template
- SEO product / collection page template
- SEO local landing page template
Let’s jump in.
1. SEO Content Templates for Articles/Blogs
Here’s the template!
Sidenote: SEO content templates for blogs should be incredibly comprehensive. Blogs, on average, should be between 1,000 and 2,000 words to add as much value to the reader as possible.
For this example template, we’ll assume that the article is targeting the keyword “can pregnant women eat sushi?”
URL structure: website.com/blog/exact-match-keyword
Example: website.com/blog/can-pregnant-women-eat-sushi
Title Tag: [50–60 characters of a click-worthy variation of the main keyword]
Example: 5 reasons why pregnant women should avoid eating sushi
Meta Description: [160 characters explaining what the blog is about, using variations of the main keyword]
Example: Should pregnant women eat sushi? The answer is no and yes. Pregnant women should not eat raw fish but may still enjoy going to a sushi restaurant. This article explains.
H1 (Header 1 Tag): Title of your blog – tells Google what the page is about at a high level (basically a thesis)
Example: 5 reasons pregnant women shouldn’t eat sushi (+ 7 com hack that DOES allow women to eat some sushi)
H2s and H3s: evidence and supporting evidence to verify your main title
Example:
H2: There’s a difference between sushi and raw fish
H3: Some sushi dishes do NOT have raw fish
H2: Pregnant women shouldn’t eat raw fish: here are 5 reasons why
H3: Reason 1: XYZ
H3: Reason 2: XYZ
H3: Reason 3: XYZ
H3: Reason 4: XYZ
H3: Reason 5: XYZ
H2: 7 Dishes Pregnant Women Can Likely Eat at Sushi Restaurants
H3: Dish 1: XYZ
H3: Dish 2: XYZ
H3: Dish 3: XYZ
H3: Dish 4: XYZ
H3: Dish 5: XYZ
H3: Dish 6: XYZ
H3: Dish 7: XYZ
Real Example of This Template Working Well
Here’s an article we wrote for a client called Trusted Nurse Staffing. They’re a travel nurse staffing agency working with nurses nationwide.
We wrote an article about nurse-to-patient ratios, and we organized it by state.
Here’s the link to the article
https://www.trustednursestaffing.com/nurse-patient-ratios-by-state/
Before sharing the exact content template we used (you can also just few the page to see it), I want to share metrics:
So far, in 2023 (Jan 1 – 24), this article has received well over 3,000 organic visitors from Google:

It’s ranking at the top of Google for keywords like:

Now, here’s the content template we used:
H1: Nursing Ratios: Which States Have Nurse-to-Patient Ratios and Why They’re Important
H2: What Is the Nurse-to-Patient Ratio Recommendation?
H3: What Is the Average Nurse-to-Patient Ratio in the United States
H2: Nurse-Patient Ratios By State
H3: California
H3: Connecticut
H3: Illinois
H3: Massachusetts
H3: Minnesota
H3: Nevada
H3: New Jersey
H3: New York
H3: Ohio
H3: Oregon
H3: Texas
H3: Washington
How to Use This Template
Simply copy and paste the information from above and cater it to your specific topic and keyword!
The best piece of advice I can give you:
Make your blog/article content SUPER comprehensive.
But there’s a catch:
Make it super comprehensive about ONE clear topic/keyword.
For example, don’t write an article all about…
- Top paleo breakfasts
- Top paleo dinners
- Best paleo snacks
- Can you eat paleo if you’re pregnant?
- Can kids eat paleo?
- Should you eat paleo if you’re training for a marathon?
Google rewards blogs/articles that are incredibly comprehensive about ONE topic. Therefore, each of those bullet points above are perfect for a separate article.
Other Things to Think About with Articles/Blogs That Are NOT Included In the Template
There are many other factors that go into dominating SEO for your blog posts, such as:
- Internal links
- External links
- Domain authority
- Including authorship (from a legit, trusted author)
- Video content
- And more
Just because you use our SEO content template doesn’t guarantee ranking in position 1. There’s a lot more that goes into it.
2. SEO Content Templates for Product Pages / Collection Pages
Product pages and collections pages are similar but different.
Collections pages encompass an entire category of items (i.e. “dining tables”)
Product pages are the specific, individual product that falls underneath a particular collection or multiple collections (i.e. “Wood dining table #3”).
These pages are the most important on an ecommerce site, as they are what will rank for bottom-of-funnel queries:
- Keyword: “Modern dining tables for sale”
- Collections page showing all the modern dining tables you sell
- Keyword: “Dark natural wood modern dining table 75” long”
- Specific product page that matches the keyword search will rank
Collections Page SEO Content Template
URL structure: website.com/[name-of-collection]
Example: website.com/modern-dining-tables/
Title Tag: [50–60 characters of a click-worthy variation of the main keyword]
Example: Beautiful modern dining tables for sale with free shipping
Meta Description: [160 characters explaining what the blog is about, using variations of the main keyword]
Example: We sell beautiful, yet affordable, modern dining tables. We have different modern dining table surface types, including wood, concrete, marble, and more. Click to browse.
H1 (Header 1 Tag): Title of your collection – tells Google what the page is about at a high level (basically a thesis)
Example: Beautiful Modern Dining Tables For Your Home
H2s and H3s: evidence and supporting evidence to verify your main title
Example:
H2: Wood Modern Dining Tables
[populate all wood tables]
H2: Marble Modern Dining Tables
[populate all marble tables]
H2: Concrete Modern Dining Tables
[populate all concrete tables]
H2: More Information About Us and How We Make Our Modern Dining Tables
H3: Made in the USA
H3: Sustainably Sourced
H3: 90-Day Money Back Guarantee
Product Page SEO Content Template
URL structure: website.com/[name-of-product]
Example: website.com/cascadia-solid-wood-table-large
Title Tag: [50–60 characters of a click-worthy variation of the main keyword]
Example: The Cascadia Solid Wood Dining Table, A Modern Masterpiece
Meta Description: [160 characters explaining what the blog is about, using variations of the main keyword]
Example: The Cascadia Solid Wood Dining Table is one of our bestsellers. It’s a large dining table, comfortably seating 8 while maintaining a modern, elegant design for your home.
H1 (Header 1 Tag): Title of your product- tells Google what the page is about at a high level (basically a thesis)
Example: The Cascadia Solid Wood Dining Table, A Modern Masterpiece That Seats 8
H2s and H3s: evidence and supporting evidence to verify your main title
Example:
H2: Images
[populate all images of the table]
H2: Description
H2: Dimensions
[populate all concrete tables]
H2: Reviews
H2: FAQs About The Cascadia Solid Wood Dining Table
H2: More Information About Us and How We Make Our Modern Dining Tables
H3: Made in the USA
H3: Sustainably Sourced
H3: 90-Day Money Back Guarantee
How to Use This Template
Just copy and paste everything from above and get to work tweaking it to your particular products!
Other Things to Think About with Product Pages / Collection Pages That Are NOT Included In the Template
The big one is structured data, such as reviews.
As you can see here, Google is showing reviews DIRECTLY in the Google results! This helps with rankings.

3. SEO Content Templates for Location Pages
This is just for multi-location businesses.
Think of a 7-location physical therapist clinic.
Here’s the template:
URL structure: website.com/locations/[name-of-location]
Example: website.com/locations/sw-portland-broadway
Title Tag: [50–60 characters of a click-worthy variation of the main keyword]
Example: Our SW Portland Physical Therapy Clinic on Broadway
Meta Description: [160 characters explaining what the blog is about, using variations of the main keyword]
Example: We are a trusted physical therapist in SW Portland with a location on Broadway. If you’re looking for a PT in SW Portland, give us a call!
H1 (Header 1 Tag): Title of your location page- tells Google what the page is about at a high level (basically a thesis)
Example: Trusted Physical Therapist in SW Portland: Our Location on Broadway
H2s and H3s: evidence and supporting evidence to verify your main title
Example:
H2: Services Offered At Our SW Portland Physical Therapy Location
H3: Sports Injuries
H3: Work Injuries
H3: Surgery Support
H3: Balance & Dizziness
H3: Preventative Care
H2: Our SW Portland Physical Therapy Team
Share names & bios of the team there
H2: About Our Physical Therapy Business
Share brief history
H2: Our SW Portland Location: Hours, Directions, and More
Embed your Google Business Profile here!!!
Real Example of This Template Working Well
We worked with a 15+ location physical therapy clinic in California to build out their location pages.
Here’s one of them:
https://pro-pt.net/about/locations/fresno-north/
Before you look at the page, here’s how it’s performing.
If I go to Google and type in “physical therapist in north Fresno”, this location page is ranking FIRST (below the maps, but they’re also ranking in the maps based on our work optimizing their Google Business Profiles).

How to Use This Template
Copy and paste the information from above and make it relevant to your multi-location business.
For example, if you’re trying to improve your general contractor SEO and you’ve got multiple locations, you might include “services” like bathroom remodeling, home renovations, custom cabinetry, or whatever other services you offer in each of those locations.
Other Things to Think About with Articles/Blogs That Are NOT Included In the Template
Location pages are relevant to localized searches.
Things like:
- Plumber in Beaverton, Oregon
- Chiropractor in NE Portland
- Crossfit Gym near OHSU in Portland
And, with these searches, the Google Local pack usually ranks first.

Ranking in the Google Local Pack has a LOT to do with your Google Business Profile, not just your local landing page.
So, if you want your local landing page to rank, then there’s a good chance that you also want your Google Business Profile to rank.
This is also a little bit different than international SEO consulting – location pages likely aren’t enough to rank in multiple countries, it’s much more complicated than that.
There’s More to SEO Than Content Templates…
